About Me

People often ask me why I got into photography, and the more and more I thought about it I realized I never "got" into photography. Photography got into me. I began my photography hobby while chasing storms out on the plains. I wanted to capture, and share with friends, the incredible beauty of a lone Kansas supercell thunderstorm. The love for the camera became instant. I began to "Snap", "Click", and "Edit" like it was the only thing I was ever meant to do. I knew instantly that photography was going to be a big part of my future.

My work explores the relationships between what we perceive as nature and culture. When an object is taken out of it's original setting - out of nature - it becomes something unique and more importantly, something special. I never wanted to limit myself in photography, so I began to get more and more involved, so I started taking portraits of friends and family. Before I knew it, my passion had grown into a full blown business. My professional experience now consists of weddings, family and senior portraits, architecture, and much more.

It is estimated that there are over 7000 different languages spoken and written throughout this planet, however, pictures and photography can be viewed, perceived, and understood by everyone, everywhere, everyday. Photography is not only a passion, it is a dedication, and I dedicate my full capabilities to YOU, and the still moments in time that will be everlasting.
